Job Description:

  • In this senior-level coordinator role, you will help to manage key IT and Digital projects and products, both internal and external.

  • You will provide customer use support for existing and new digital products.

  • Project management responsibilities include the coordination and completion of small-to-medium-sized projects.

  • Oversee most aspects of projects from both the Digital and IT portions of AAR’s business.

  • Establish scope, assign work, set pace, track progress, address blockers, escalate as needed, and achieve results.

  • Report status to management on each assigned project.

  • Support large projects assigned to others in the PMO team.

  • Design and populate other reports as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate internal and external resources to the fulfillment of projects related to digital products for aviation customers as well as internal IT projects

  • Ensure that assigned agile projects are scored, tracked to velocity, and that releases are achieved as planned

  • Support the operational product owners for one or multiple customer-facing digital solutions, potentially spanning eCommerce, supply chain, customer facing portal for pool and repair programs

  • Document requirements, features, and functions in terms of updating user manuals

  • Support product owners and customers in product development and adoption

  • Ensure all waterfall projects are scoped, driven, documented, and completed on time

  • Ensure the right resources are allocated and effective

  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project resources and engage leadership when necessary

  • Deliver project performance using contemporary methods, primarily but not limited to Agile

  • Manage and build strong relationships with all stakeholders

  • Constantly evaluate, mitigate, and minimize all project risks and blockers

  • Create appropriate project-level reporting for management

  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation

  • Track operational metrics and maintain project and related performance dashboards

  • Assist in the development and execution of several other reports and processes for PMO and governance initiatives

  • Use and continually develop PM and leadership skills

  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Requirements:

  • 1-5 years experience in project management, especially exposure to agile

  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

  • Ability to foster strong relationships with others and exert influence over them; consensus-builder

  • Sharp, analytical skills; ability to create clarity amidst complex situations; must be able to gather disparate and incomplete information to determine cause and effect

  • Ability to develop and implement new ideas to improve processes

  • Experience developing online reports, dashboards, and automated reporting

  • Prior exposure to PM tools like Jira

  • A strong sense of teamwork and comfortable with change

  • Experience developing KPIs and related measures

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or ScrumMaster certification a plus

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience a plus
