- Manage inspection process for pre-purchase and post lease of engines. Review engines and engine records to effectively manage lease, sale and teardown engines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform inspections of engines prior to purchase, and following lease. Review engine records prior to purchase to determine the marketability of engines.
Manage and maintain engine records library and archives following purchase or repair in a way that makes LLPs of teardown engines marketable.
Travel to customer locations to assess requirements and provide on-site representation at repair facilities during the engine repair process.
Create mini-packs for lease engines for marketing purposes.
Generate work scopes for engines due for repair including LLP trace.
Review customer requirements versus AAR owned engines.
Purchase replacement material for use in the engine repair process.
Route removed material for repair, manage repair material.
Coordinate with the product line personnel for use of AAR owned inventory.
All other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; Bachelor degree preferred; or four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum 5 years engine repair or engine records experience.
Minimum A&P license required.
Strong background in quality, inspection and records.
