Responsible for coordinating meetings and developing strategies to see projects through from beginning to end. Provides overall support to Projects department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist the Projects Lead and INL staff in business development, proposal capture, task order reception and execution.
Receive project documents and compile a summary that includes project plan, target date and list of responsibilities and responsible person.
File project documents.
Attend meetings and take minutes as required.
Create and maintain project schedules.
Create responsibility lists for those who are involved in the project, and compile summaries for stakeholders.
Schedule meetings and arrange travel for others who are attending.
Position may require domestic and/or international travel.
Position requires a U.S. Department of State Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT).
Perform other duties as assigned.
A.A./A.S or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
B.A./B.S. degree from a four-year college or university in a related field and/or combination of education and related experience.
Certification as Project Management Professional (PMP) by the Project Management Institute.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Minimum three (3) years experience in project related activities
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint Project and Visio).
Experience in negotiation and customer support.
Ability to maintain strong customer relationships.
Prior military/US government experience.
