The Supply Chain Program Manager will provide direct management of the Supply Chain Logistics Program at the Landing Gear Program Management Office (PMO). The SCPM reports to the AAR Director of Landing Gear PBL and will coordinate contractual commitments to meet and enhance supply chain and operational efficiency of the program. The position will ensure repatriation assets are parts supportable. This position is accountable for delivery of repairable assets to repair vendors and for generation and delivery of serviceable assets to contractual customers.
The Position drives the creation and implementation of the Supply Plan, the Program Master Schedule and quarterly induction schedules. It requires the ability to lead cross functional teams to hit tight project timelines and reach target savings goals. Prepare contract deliverables, prepare and present program results at program management reviews.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Achieve annually savings through cost improvement (reduction/avoidance), supply chain efficiency, and/or program support projects.
Analyze materials spend and actual/forecasted material demand.
Interface with strategic sourcing teams to optimize vendor spend and drive timely repairs.
Assist in forecasting of material delivery and asset repair/remanufacture.
Project leader of multiple productivity projects, working with cross-functional teams and using six sigma tools/methodology and appropriate business tools.
Responsible for monitoring status and facilitating multiple active Supply Chains, eliminating stock outages and driving results to meet production schedules.
Main Point of Contact (POC) with the customer for all Supply Chain issues.
Provide leadership of on-site personnel; prioritize workloads, delegate tasks and activities.
Investigate, coordinate and communicate project changes or concerns.
Create and make revisions to project schedules, business cases, risk assessments and other project management tools.
Create and conduct presentations for project approvals and monthly status.
Insure subcontracts flow down mandatory requirements and data items required by the prime contract.
Generate and evaluate new ideas and opportunities aligned with program priorities and overall business strategies.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university; or eight years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Masters Degree preferred
Minimum of 10 years aviation experience in supply chain and/or program management.
Experience in negotiation and customer support.
Experience in supplier development and materials management a plus.
3-5 years of direct supervisory experience a plus.
Working knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma tools, lean manufacturing a plus.
