SUMMARY

Accountable to the AAR CBP Program Manager. Responsible and accountable for all human resource issues affecting the program. Partners with program leadership in matters relating to decision-making, personnel levels, compliance, union grievances and personnel relations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the human resource function for the program.

  • Coordinates with recruiters regarding new position posting

  • Receives resumes and distributes to applicate Managers for review

  • Coordinates interviews when required

  • Coordinates offers to successful candidates

  • Ensures all pre-employment paperwork is completed and filed

  • Reconciles HR system to ensure accuracy of data

  • Reviews premium payments (hardships, lead, HAZMAT, shift differentials, etc.) for accuracy

  • Coordinates communication with union stewards and union representatives

  • Tracks all union grievances and ensures responses are sent within allotted timeframes

  • Prepares company response and responds to all union grievances

  • Gives guidance to all program employees regarding company HR policies, such as holidays, vacations, benefits, compensation, etc.

  • Performs reviews and investigations when required

  • Assists in negotiation of collective bargaining agreements

  • Assists with any union arbitrations

  • Coordinates CDRL preparation as required

  • Travel is required

  • Position requires proof of US citizenship

  • Position requires successful completion of DHS Background Investigation

  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. A thorough knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office. Must have experience in collective bargaining environment and understand labor rules and regulations. Must be able to articulate company policies and procedures. Must have good working knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree and five years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
